LEADERSHIP & EXPERIENCE FOR SARATOGA COUNTY
As your Saratoga County Sheriff, I will bring my unwavering leadership and strong experience to this position in uniform and out. I know I am the most qualified person to continue the great work of Sheriff Zurlo and Saratoga County deserves the best.
My leadership is extensive throughout my lifelong career of serving Saratoga County. I have been a supervisor at the Sheriff’s Office since 2014 and have been serving as Sheriff Zurlo’s Undersheriff since May, 2023. During my time as a supervisor and executive leader, I have continued my education, including obtaining my FBI National Academy Associates Leadership Certification.
As for my experience, I have over 26 years of experience working at the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. During my career I served as a Deputy Sheriff, Investigator, Lieutenant, Captain and as the Undersheriff. As Undersheriff, under Sheriff Zurlo, I oversee all five divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. As second in command I oversee +300 employees and a $46 million budget.

SECURING SAFETY IN OUR SCHOOLS
We must protect our children and reinforce safety in our Schools.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office currently has 16 School Resource Officers assigned to 11 school districts throughout our community. As a father and lifelong Saratoga County resident, the safety of our children is one of my top priorities.
I am committed to reviewing and reinforcing this program to ensure its success, and if necessary, expanding it to make sure our children are safe.
A STRONG AND COHESIVE SARATOGA LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY
Law Enforcement is stronger and smarter when we all work together.
In my long career in the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, I have worked with dozens of law enforcement agencies and organizations.
As Undersheriff, I have had the pleasure of fostering relationships amongst these parties to help increase communication and success for Saratoga’s Safety. I understand how important it is for all parties to be on the same page.
As Sheriff, I will implement regular meetings with county law enforcement leaders to ensure we are working together to serve the residents to the best of our ability. We are stronger together and coordination is key. Regular meetings of leadership staff will ensure our resources are being utilized to the maximum potential.

A SHERIFF WHO SUPPORTS OUR CITIZENS AND THE DEPARTMENT
The morale of our Department is critical to its success, and having a Sheriff who understands the needs of the members is paramount.
As a career Law Enforcement service member who has served in nearly every position from Deputy to Investigator and Undersheriff, I understand how important it is for our Sheriff and our Community to support the men and women in uniform.
As Sheriff, I will work hand-in-hand with our men and women of the Sheriff’s Office to ensure that I am aware of their needs so they are best prepared to protect and serve the citizens of Saratoga County. Support from the top is vital and I plan to provide that.
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: SUPPORTING OUR CHILDREN, SENIORS, AND VETERANS
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has done an extraordinary job supporting our Children, Seniors, and Heros. Under my leadership I plan to strengthen and reinforce our Department’s commitment to the community by creating and expanding programs that empower and protect our seniors. We will host Fraud Prevention and Safety Days to combat scams, provide fraud prevention seminars, and offer self defense and home protection training to increase the knowledge and safety of our Seniors at home and in public.
Together we can do great things for our most vulnerable and valued citizens so that our community feels supported, engaged, and secure. Together, we can create a safer, stronger Saratoga County for all.
